Filtering Simulation Outputs/Results🔗

It is possible to specify Modelon Impact to only store a filtered set of variables during simulation. The result file could thus be reduced in size only to the relevant variables. Output filtering is an experiment-specific option:

  1. Switch to the Experiment layer
  2. Select an Experiment or create a new Experiment
  3. Open the right sidebar and go to section OUTPUTS
  4. Click on + Add filter
  5. Select in the dropdown the kind of filter you want to add:
    • View: Select a custom view, you have created for your model, and the variables used in this view are set as filters
    • Select the Active Views and all variables from active views are used as filters.
    • Favorites: Choose "All favorites" or a select a set "favorite" variable.
    • Component: Select a model element (component) and all its variables are used as filters.
    • Variable: Select a variable to be used as filter (see also chapter filtering parameters or variables using free text)
  6. Add more filters if desired. These are additive.
