ADL Version 1.9

Aircraft Dynamics Library 1.9 is part of Modelon's 2023.2 release.

New versions of Modelon libraries are sold and distributed directly from Modelon, as well as approved resellers.

Improvements

  • Added example model of a Cessna 172 Skyhawk with 3DOF aerodynamic coefficients and a propeller-driven propulsion.
  • Added frame transformation blocks with one partial (interface) class that can be replaced with different classes for transforming e.g., body frame to wind.
    • The SpecifyRotation block now inherits from the partial class, all other functionality remaining.

Breaking changes

  • AircraftDynamics.Utilities.Sliders.Interactive is removed due to Modelica tool incompatibilities.
