This tutorial aims to explain the basic implementation of the compressor models that are part of Vapor Cycle Library (VCL), and how to parametrize a VCL compressor model with ASHRAE data as starting point, the general procedure to parametrize a compressor with non-standardized compressor performance data sheets, and the parametrization using the ten coefficients implementation.

Parametrizing a compressor model from performance data sheets is important in order to model commercially available compressors.
